The messages of the We Love Eating project were brought to life in hundreds of activities during "A different week" held in April in Cluj-Napoca. For four special days, students had fun while learning about and first-hand enjoying the benefits of healthy food and active lifestyle.

More than 2,000 kids enjoyed over 1,500 litres of water and 700 kilos of Romanian apples, and famous sports personalities shared advice on the importance of keeping fit and physically active for health.

The “Kids Lab” activity, visited by 500 1st and 6th graders, focused on simple and healthy cooking, with students and professors of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine guiding the youngsters in preparing healthy smoothies.

“Neuronkid”, a project partner, encouraged over 1,500 children to play traditional games under the care of more than 120 teachers and volunteer students from the Psychology and Education Sciences College.
