Roncq organises a full week of activities to close the WLE project
The We Love Eating project came to its end in the city of Roncq with a series of activities during the last week of May.
Older people, pregnant women, and children were invited to participate in the week of activities organised in Ronq to close the We Love Eating project in the French city.
A healthy dinner was organised for the 18-23 years-old of the city, followed by a sports competition. The event aimed to encourage youth to get involved in physical activities and eat balanced meals.
A workshop for pregnant women and young mothers. The importance of a balanced diet for them and their babies, as well as the benefits of practising exercises, was explained.
The forum “Tous à table” at the Salle Catry (Place Jean-Jaurès) offered many activities related to food and cooking. Participants were able to join interactive workshops, games, cooking demonstrations and many other surprises for all the family.More than 400 visitors of all ages enjoyed this intergenerational event, full of activities and stands around cooking, water consumption, waste reduction, etc.
Around 190 young students were invited to participate in a "water bar" at the St Roch school and discover while playing the importance of drinking water.
